Aug the Last
Dear Mother
it has been a long time since we have writen to you I suppose you are ancious to know how we are geting along all well but the Baby he is having a hard time with his teeath
has been prety sick we think is is some better he looks bad is very cross I can not write much this time when he gets well I write you a long letter
do not wory about us we are geting along prety well concidering the bad luck we had have got one we had our wheat Trashed [thrashed] Thursday had one hundred and Three bushh bushels corn is good we have Pleanty of Potatoes and evry thing in the [illegible] table line.
Marcia said [illegible] would send four pacages of Papers we did not get but two Oscar is going to town to day
I will write a longer letter soon
Alice and Lewis wants to see you very much talks about all the time I wish you could come and see us if we did not have to Pay for the Oxen we would send for you to come out this fall
I will have to close the Baby is worrying so I will have to take him write often
