WARRANTEE DEED.
This Indenture, Made this 15th day of December in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and Sixty between Robert Johnson of the County of Champaign and State of Illinois of the first part, and Dennis Chapin of the County of Champign and State of Illinois of the second part, Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred Dollars to Him paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, and to His hears and assigns a certain tract or parcel of LAND with the appurtenances, lying and being in the couty of Champaign and State of Illinois described as follwos, to wit:
Lot No One (1) of a Sub Division of the North East quarter of the North East quarter of Section Nine (9) Township Eightteen (18) [illegible] Ten (10) East being five acres mor or less according to a record plat of the Sub Dvision of Said forty
To have and to hold the aforesaid granted premises to the said party of the second part His heirs and assigns to His and Them use and behoof, FOREVER. And the said party of the first part, do hereby, for Him and His heirs, executors and administrators, covenant with the said party of the second part His heirs and assigns that He is lawfully seized, in fee simple, of the afore-granted premises, that they are free of all incumbrances; that He has good right to sell and convey the same to the said party of the second part; and that He and His heirs, executors and administrators will warrant and defend the said tract or parcel of Land, to the said party of the second part His heirs and assigns forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons.
In Witness Whereof, The said party of the second part has hereunto set His hand and seal on the day and year first above wretten.
