J.C. McNeil-Letter Fragment-1876
--This letter appears to be from 1876. Marriage records show Ella Pepple and Myron Sisson married on February 23rd 1876. The Sisson family were business partners in the bakery that the Pepples ran---
My family are well and your uncle George's family are as well as usual. His wife is not and never will be. The boys are at home yet and unmarried. My wife and I attended Ella Pepple's wedding at Toledo on Feby [sic] 23rd she married a man by the name of Sisson. Her father was married Feby [sic] 29th to a young lady about 24 years old. Kate Pepple is expecting to be married some time this spring or summer. Give my love to your family, and I hope you will succeed in raising a good crop of wheat this year. Write again and let me hear how you are getting along.
Respectfully yours,
J. C. McNeil
