Benjamin C. Kuo
Dr. Benjamin C. Kuo’s specialization was Control Systems, with an emphasis on Digital Control and Incremental Motion Control Systems. He has written more than 10 text books on various subjects on control systems. Most notably, “Automatic Control Systems” which was published by John Wiley & Sons and is now on the 8th edition.
Professor Kuo had an interest in art photography. Therefore, when digital cameras became available, he would use computers to edit photos and was inspired by Andy Warhol's art. Using Andy Warhol's formatting, he put the four photos of Marilyn Monroe and then used his own wife instead. He used his knowledge of mechanical balancing and used those techniques and concepts to apply it to art.
