First National Bank

The Harris family owed their fortune that allowed them such a magnificent mansion to the success of the First National Bank. The Harris family had long owned the First National Bank in Champaign. Henry H. Harris, the owner of the mansion at the time of the heist, was the grandson of B.F. Harris, who established the First National Bank of Champaign.
